Yarralaw Springs
Yarralaw Springs Wines is a micro boutique winery located south of Goulburn. It is constructed of strawbales and features exposed hardwood timbers and textured lime rendered walls. Our grapes grow in a cool climate of 670 metres elevation. Planted in 2000, the vineyard is sustainably worked, free of pesticides. Each year the soil health is improved by onsite composting of all winery waste and vineyard prunings, and organic practices are aimed for in all endeavours. Clovers and other legumes provide soil nitrogen, and the vineyards are slashed in the mid-rows leaving a healthy cover for the unpaid workers – the worms, soil microbes and insects to do their jobs. Vines are hand pruned and grapes hand-picked. The small quantities of wine produced receive great care, and time is available to try new techniques in making and styling fine wines.
Yarralaw Springs offers a spacious picnic area and tables, tea and coffee are available. Accommodation is also available.
